low kicks?

Normally I feel big kicks to my side throughout the day but today I've noticed I haven't felt them up there, instead I've felt really low sharp pains. I don't know how to explain them exactly but it feels like she's literally kicking out my vagina. Is this normal to just feel them down there and such a sudden shift in movement? Any help would be appreciated to help put my mind at ease, I can't ring my midwife coz it's Christmas eve :\ I'm 29 weeks tomorrow btw.

It could also mean baby is breech. When my baby was breech, i would feel the kicks and pains down in my pelvis but now that shes flipped i feel pressure but kicks n such are above my belly button.  Im 34+3 now.

My baby is sitting so low they had probs with doing the scan. I had my cervix scanned on wed to make sure its closed and there was her hand in the shot lol. I feel pokes in my pelvic area all the time and her kicks are stronger either under bust or in my sides.  Shes never flipped think she likes being cramped suits me fine its way more comfortable lol  :)

I've felt my girl flip a few times, and the kicks down there suck, and then she stretches out and it's like she's going to tear her way out, lol.  Also you could be just feeling what is called lightning crotch.  Literally like bolts of lightning inside.  Nobodies sure exactly what causes it, some say baby pressing on nerves in your pelvis, others say it's your cervix changing for birth.
