maternity leave?

I work 2 part-time jobs and neither one offers maternity leave because of being part-time. I am 25 weeks pregnant. I dont make much momey, so I havent been able to save much for my leave. I don't know if I'll be able to save enough by the devilery time. I'd rather not have to ask family for financial help, but don't want to loose my house. Any suggestions?

U can still apply for disability as long as u hv 18 months of work history recent ur entitled to benifits . Call disability ask them to mail u form fill ur portion out and hv ur doctor to then employer and mail in by ur 30 weeks so when u go on disability ur checks will start coming in.

If your in California look up the Family Medical Leave Act, it's what the person above me is talking about.  They pay up to 55% of your monthly income.  This is what i plan to use. They pay for 4 weeks leave before baby and 6 to 8 weeks after depending on delivery. Somethings better then nothing!

If you live in California, there's a program that is like unemployment...they give you three months pay (it's not fill pay though)...I don't know the name of the program anymore, but I used it when my mom got sick and I couldn't take work leave with pay...you just can't quit your jobs..

Ask family for help for a month to pay bills .. Then do you have any public assistance? I know where I live they offer you everything, cash, medical food etc, it'd be nice to see someone who needs help get it.
