medication while pregnant

I have been prescribed 2mg of xanax 3 times a day since my twins were 2 Years old, they are almost 7 now. I have recently found out I was unexpectedly pregnant. I am approximately 8 weeks. Since I have found out I have stopped me medicine but I am having horrible issues trying to sleep and I feel like I'm much more irritable with my boys and that's not fair to them. My Dr has assured me taking the medicine as needed will not affect my baby but I'm just curious if anyone else has been through this? Was your baby OK?

Found the box, its called Cipramil. Safe to take while pregnant. I was on aprazolam then they switched me to cipramil for my anxiety. My doc said apraz & xanex werent safe while preg or breastfeeding. But this stuff is. Good luck with ur pregnancy :)

Talk to your doc asap. Xanex isnt safe to just abrumptly stop, but isnt safe to take while pregnant. There are safe alternatives to take while pregnant. I cant remember the name of the med they gave me to take instead of xanex but there are options. Good luck :)
