Hi everyone, ive done some searching online but cant find an answet yet, just wondering if anyone knows what fish/seafood pregnant women can eat at least twice a week without any worry. I normally eat salmon, flake, tuna, barramundi, fish fingers and fish cakes.. and most of those are high level.  :(     im struggling with meat it makes me gag !

Avoid: Shark, swordfish, king mackerel, fresh tuna, sea bass, tilefish, mahi mahi, grouper, amberjack, and fish from contaminated waters

Limit to six ounces per week: Canned (or packaged) white albacore tuna and freshwater fish caught by family and friends

Limit to 12 ounces per week: Shellfish, canned (or packaged) light tuna, smaller ocean fish, farm-raised fish and store-bought freshwater fish

Safely eat: Wild salmon, shrimp, catfish, tilapia, sole, flounder, haddock, halibut, ocean perch, pollack, cod and trout

With your tuna try to eat more slip jack and really limit the albacore. I eat quite a bit of tuna.

Everything you listed is fine. Google fish to avoid. Those would be the ones at the top of the food chain who eat other fish and therefore are exposed to more mercury. And you're most likely not eating those fish anyway. Shark, mackerel, Tile fish. I also agree with Ima2bee, there are just crazy restrictions on everything and I think it causes an even more harmful impact on pregnant women: worry and stress unnecessarily

Limited.to once a.WK. I ate clams the other day soon good. I'm sure as.long as its in moderation whatever you want is.OK. I personally think the food restrictions are a joke. I'm a rn and I see many people eatting what they want and have healthy pregnancies and happy babies.
