miscarriage?

How do you know that you have or are having a miscarriage? . Do you have to bleed or have cramps?. I'm worried. I'm not bleeding but I am gassy and have bloating.  My first appointment is Tuesday.  I'm currently 9 weeks. I think i may be a bit overly concerned.  Help if you have any opinions or ideas , thank you.

I think you are probably fine. Cramps and bloating are normal. I recently had a miscarriage and there was a lot of bleeding. It was obvious that something was wrong. Also, all of my pregnancy symptoms went away. My breasts quit being sore and no more nasuea or tiredness.

You would have bright red bleeding with lots of painful clots. When it happens there is no doubt what is going on
VERY PAINFUL

Lol...just be careful with broccoli! That's one of my favorites and it is the worst for triggering the gas pains. :(  hope that everything calms down soon for you.

One of the first thing pregnancy does is cause you to produce a hormone that helps to relax the uterus. Problem is, it's not very good at being specific to theuterus. It causes your ddigestive tract to slow down. It is most likely to be the cause of the cramps and bloating. And it bites, I know, sorry hun. Eating high fiber foods can help. Also stay away from gassy foods when you are already feeling poor. Hope it gets better

Bloating and gas is so normal at that point. I wouldn't worry. No cramps or bleeding plus a very typical pregnancy symptom, says all is well to me. :)
