I told my daughter that we are having a boy, she kinda knew but she really wanted a sister, she started crying and said she really wanted a sister she now has 5 brothers... im so sad for her, but i told her now it's more mommy\ daughter days... she is 11, im sure she will come around and will love to go lil brother shopping now.... :-)

Omg im so sorry for your loss & hers. how sad no wonder why the poor baby was crying. I truly hope you can give her a sister ♥ that is so touching. Oh my heart goes out to her I know this is s great time your unborn boy is healthy :) I don't want to leave that out.

She does but i think to her nothing is better than a sister,

She will always want a sister cause i lost a daughter when the baby was 2 months of SIDS so she feels sad about that when she thinks about sisters
She would have been 10 and I'm sure they would have been the best of friends.. its just heartbreaking.

I feel for your daughter. Have 4 older brothers and 1 younger. After my little brother my mom got pregnant with a little girl and they had to take her bc my mom was having complications :(. The puppy thing is a great idea. Does she have any little girl cousins that she can treat like a sister? That's how i dealt with it

We have a girl dog, pit bull and she loves her and she has a boy dog Chihuahua who is her baby but she just wanted a sister so bad, she makes me sad :( when she cries....

Awwww  if I may suggest get her a girl puppy!  Congrats to you!! Your poor daughter though how sweet of her. I would have cried with her.im sure your right shell be ok once she get used to what it is. Let her help with baby like you said, but I REALLY suggest if she likes dogs a girl pup she can dress and treat like a girl
