need a friend :(

My husband has been such a butt lately, he normally is great, but since we found out we are expecting he picks fights, and tonight was the worst. I have high blood pressure and the Dr said try not to get worked up.
I have a stressful job, I'm now scared that this fight might hurt the baby, I was so upset and crying hard for 30 minutes, my head is killing me, I'm still crying. I don't really have any friends and that makes this worse, plus my family moved far far away and my son is visiting them,.so I'm all alone.
I just need someone to talk too

Maybe it is just stress for him (not like creating life isnt stressful) and he worries how things will be when the baby is born?  Poor woman, so sorry that is so hard on you. (((Hugs)))

I know how you feel and sorry Its so rough on you. Men are a weird bunch sometimes with how they react vs how we as women would handle it. My hubby acts Kinda distant from time to time where I dont know if hes excited or not. I think Men just are under more pressure or put more pressure on themselves and dont know how to react to it. Sometimes my hubby picks fights to and just isnt considerate of the fact Im pregnant. Just when things calmed down try to talk with him, or catch him at a moment he'll be reasonable in. I hope it gets better.

I think I'll be high risk too. My appt isn't till 7/31 I was high risk with the twins ( my cervix was funneling). I don't have many friends either which is fine b/c I usually don't talk about my issues.

Sorry abour your fella. Maybe he's just experiencing MENopause :)  sure its hard but try and relax and stay positive. I know it sounds silly, but  try talking outloud, "to the universe" about how you feel or what you  want, it may help. Good luck

You have a whole lot of friends here :) my hubby did the same thing with our last pregnancy. Afterward we talked and I found out that he was just nervous about everything. Which is sweet and understandable but it would have been a whole lot better to know that then! Maybe your hubby is just scared...men don't do scared well. (And yet we're the weaker sex?!)

I'm twelve weeks, we have an 8 yr old and he was out of state for that whole pregnancy, so he doesn't remember anything, plus with my son I wasn't working so I had more energy, I'm already high risk because of my cervix, so stress is not good and he is not helping. I had my birth control removed on Oct, took us 6 months to get pregnant, now I think he doesn't want it.

Thanks everyone, I'm glad others understand, I feel like the few friends I have always act like they have a perfect marriage

Hey my husband and I were arguing today too and it felt like my stomach was in knots. This is our 5th child (completely unexpected). The kids r home 4 the summer and its a bit overwhelming. So the anger from the argument was completely misdirected. Plus one of the twins ( boys #3&4) broke the tv...smh. Once things calmed down he realized he was being an ***, he apologized and ran some bath water. The warm bath definitely helped! Hopefully he'll come around and be the great guy ur used too! Be encouraged!

Awww I'm sorry :( mine was like that in the beggining...the combination of an unplanned pregnancy...and the hormones. It was rough in the beggining. Once he accepted it and is now excited our relationship is better than ever! Hang in there!!! How far along are you?
