This of such a long process! They have me cervadil @ 8pm and i have to keep it in until 8 am. I can't sleep! I'm so uncomfortable. They won't give me pitocin until the morning. i didn't know this was the process. I'm afraid I'm not gonna have the energy to push tomorrow.

Watch a movie that u love that youve seen a bunch of times. It will help u relax and u won't be anxious about the ending because u already know what happens. I suffer from anticipatory anxiety and that helps me relax and calm down before bes.

Take a short nap and relax! I'm being induced on Monday so I understand how nervous you are! Good luck!

Thanks everyone for your advice! It's almost time to go to the hospital and I am trying very hard to start calm. :) i even ignored any phone calls that came in so that i could relax! (i probably should have just turned it off). Anyway, Here we go!!

And if you are around people and have to be honestly you can say something to them. Maybe even something like "I know you are excited but i'm trying very hard to keep calm and not get nervous can you help me try to stay calm." I had to do that with my son and my in laws and mom understood and really did help keep me calm. Plus my husband agreed with me lol

I agree try for me time. maybe even just a nice long bath/shower, maybe getting to the store,or maybe a walk anything that will help clear your mind. That's what I did before my  inductions with my older children

Try to do something relaxing and soothing like spend a little time to yourself and maybe talk to baby or read to get your mind off of everything.... this is number 4 for us and so far I have beem induced 3 times and everytime before I always told everyone to give me and baby time alone and I just sit and think about nothing lol or read and I also do some breathing exercise thst definately always helps say a prayer and knw tht just in a short time u will see ur beautiful baby...hope this helped and congratulations.... :-)
