Lately I've been having really bad nightmares I only sleep about 2 hours a night and it's not even a straight 2 hours.i try so hard to fall asleep and even though I am so sleepy I can't get to sleep and the second I do within 30 I'm wide awake cause of a nightmare does anyone know what I can take or do to fall asleep I feel kind of embarrassed to tell my dr I'm afraid to sleep because of nightmares but I don't know how much longer I can go running on practically no sleep.

I know benadryl is safe to take. Tylenol pm is one my doctor told me is safe too. I know hormones make the dreams worse but try avoiding shows or books that might feed those emotions. Listen to soothing music. Good luck! You're in the backstretch, just a few more weeks :)
