not being checked

I have 19 days left this will be my 4th c section,  my question is do they never check you if your having a c section?  I have told my dr several times about pain and pressure and she tells me it's normal with ot being my 4th child, and I'm fine with that. Just wondering if this is normal she tells me I'm the picture perfect pregnant women. I find it hard to believe since this has by far been my hardest pregnancy

I am on my 4th c-section also, I am 30 weeks, I dont even start my every 2 week appt until June 4 when I will be like 32 weeks...also he never checks me for anything.  I literally go in and listen to my nugget and he measures my belly.  That's it!

I'm due tomorrow & they haven't checked. The reasoning is that you could be dilated, but doesn't indicate labor.

I declined being check and only had it done at 36 weeks. It was my 3rd c-section. I have never dilated more than 1. If you have a history of not progressing and you aren't having any contractions that may be why you aren't being checked. But if you want to be checked let your doctor know.that it is not a request  and that you want it done.

Some doctors don't check til you're in labour. It's not necessary.
