Thanks! I had my first CSection twelve years ago with my first. She was breech too. But had three VBACs after that. I was so freaked out after my first I kinda psyched myself out this time. Im still a little scared and nervous but im glad I got you all here!

C-sections aren't that bad actually. I've had two, first was unplanned. He was 40 weeks & I was induced, he had turned but I wasn't dilating over a 3.also his shoulders were stuck. Ull do fine if u have a c-section.

I went to the doctor the same day as the post for a check up and he said because of my weight he wouldn't do the external version. Also, he was honest that he didn't trust the doctors there who did it anyway. He is hoping that my little guy flips on his own, and if not, because I have had other babies most head down, that maybe it's just instinct, that maybe his cord is around his neck and he won't turn anyway without hurting himself. So, FINALLY I got an answer, we will keep waiting until 39 weeks for him to turn on his own, then, if not, do a C-Section. I really didn't want a C-Section, but, if it's what is best for the baby, that's all I care about. Gosh, I have been so nervous about this forever, so, finally at almost 36 weeks, I have an idea of what to expect! Thanks for all the advice!

I just recently had a successful version done on Tuesday I am of about average build but have heard nothing about weight being a reason it won't be successful. I think it has a lot to do with how much room the baby has to move and if the baby wants to work with the doctor. If you are a ftm you'll have less room to manuvere baby, but as long as you have the right amount of fluids and your placenta is tucked back your success rate is still the 50/50 that it is for everyone.

Without being mean i saw a video online of the procedure being done, while looking for info on it as my baby girl is currently breech also, the lady in the video definitely wasn't slim or average or even chubby I don't want to be to rude and say more then that but you get the gist. Hers was apparently successful. In the info on It online where it says reasons it may not be able to be performed obese wasn't listed. Hope your baby flips for you I'm walking loads as only got 2 weeks before 37 week deadline :)
