period pains

I'm 5 weeks and 1 day pregnant and I keep getting period like pains....I'm presuming its normal and I'm changing...just want to double check

its pretty normal to feel cramping at this stage as your body is missing ur first cycle and stretching.. however keep an eye for bleeding or cramping becomes so severe that u r unable to move or take it coz that could be sign of something serious... You can always discuss this with your doctor... take care and best of luck...

Yeah I was very paranoid at first with this one also. I miscarried my 1st pregnncy, but cramping is normal.

Thank you we only tried for 5 month so we've been really lucky!! Thanks for the answer. Too early to tell people (as I've miscarried before) abit paranoid...to be expected but cheers :-D

yes, cramping in the first trimester is very normal. baby is settling in and building his or her home for the next 9 months. your body goes through a lot of changes and you will have a lot of aches and pains.
