I thought about it, but decided once I delivered I could change into a nursing gown or other pj's.
Not for yhe actual labor but to wear afterwards in the hospital. Make sure it is very light as they keep temperature high for the babies :)
I bought a nice pretty one but I ended up being too big to fit in it by the end lol. I just brought a cute long T-shirt type night gown to wear (a stretchy one ha) but I ended up throwing up on it. So I had brought one last night gown that I ended up giving birth in. It wasn't my favorite thing and I ended up throwing it in the trash after. Who wants to wear it ever again!? Gross. Wear what you'll feel comfortable in though. I wasn't going for a real hospital/sterile birth so I didn't want to feel like a medical patient in a hospital gown. I'm glad I brought my own clothes but I wouldn't spend too much money on anything.
I couldn't/ wouldn't wear anything when I was in full-blown labor - my temperature fluctuated wildly and I was just pretty uncomfortable... Covered up with blankets when I was cold stripped them off when I was hot but basically spent eight hours stark naked (I was dressed while laboring at home but this was after being admitted). It would've been a waste of money for me. They're cute, I've seen the "Pretty Pushers" ones, but I personally wouldn't spend that much on something I'd only wear once.
I wouldn't think much on getting it but you feel more comfortable with having something clean and only you want to wear then okay. I would buy any.
