Thanks.......Everyone is making valid points at this point I think I am just going to wait. I would just feel horrible if something bad would happen to my baby boy!!!!!

Dont do it! Its gross and does NOTHING!
If you want diarrhea....then go for it. Im not just talking diarrhea....were talking monster omg painful cramps and punishing your toilet for days. Yes.
I did it with my first... when I was overdue and it did nothing at all.
Thinking back to being pregnant then....what was a few more weeks or days really? Shes 8 now and she made her debut when she was ready. Which was a hint to her personality for sure!
My son was overdue as well. Im anticipating this one being late too... Im ok with it. There will be a time when you miss being pregnant. Youll never have this special time with your baby again. Enjoy it as much as you can!

I tryed it with my first child and it only made me have awful  stomach cramps for days and bowels so irritated, endless bathroom trips  Than ended up having 4 days of labor a week and a half later, just made for a long miserable week:/ I havnt hear a single success story using it.

I personally would not do it.  My sister was told by her midwives to.  She ended up in so much pain and on the toilet (on time she didnt make it off the bed to the bathroom in time which just made her embarrassed and had a mess to clean) and dehydrated.  Then they had to take her to the hospital to be induced bc not only did it not send her into labor but messed everything up.  So she had to be induced and then her labor took forever, she went into the hospital on a Sunday and didnt have the baby til mid day Tuesday, just like a half hour before they said they would have to talk csection if she didnt deliver by.  She is a very nervous person and I think all the castor oil drama for the 24 hours leadingup to the hhospital actually stalled her labor at the hospital.

It will only work if your body is ready anyways. It may make you sick to your stomach for a day or two without even putting you into labor... I tried it and was 3.5cm dilated, 80% effaced so I thought it would help but I was just miserable for two days and no baby yet, that was last week.
