I had a hematoma like that too at 7 weeks, and spotting brown, then pink for a day. Its nothing to be worried about, mine cleared itself up, and my son was born healthy and is now 6 months old. I'd be asking for another ultrasound in a weeks' time to check the heartbeat again, because if the ultrasound was measured even a few days out, this can affect the heart rate, at 7 weeks 3 days my bubs was 138, and they said anything over 100 at that size was normal.

Think positive is the best advice I can give. Worrying and stressing will just make it worse. I know its easier said than done God knows id be worried too. But I also stress makes everything worse so take a breath and leave it in Gods hands. Hope everything is ok w u and ur baby

Likely not what you want to hear... but my first pregnancy I had a simular experience! I was bleeding a lot and a lot, they kept telling me however the baby was absolutely fine! I went for an ultrasound and the heartbeat was 68, they still told me everything was fine! I misscarried less then a week later. The best thing you can do is hope for the best! Nothing is set in stone until it actually happens... try and stay positive!

I cannot tell you what your outcome will be. But I had a threatened miscarriage at 6 weeks. I went to the er because I was having heavy red bleeding with bad cramps. THey did an exam, couldn't find a heartbeat that early and did a blood test. They didn't do an ultrasound either. I had to go back two days later for another blood test and my hcg levels had went up but not doubled... As time went on the numbers kept increasing. Now I'm 15 weeks with a healthy baby. I hope for a good outcome, try to stay positive and take it easy.

During the exam did the doctor talk about if your cervix was closed or at all thinned out? How long did he listen to the heartbeat?  It could be that it had just dipped down low for a little bit. Are they checking your hcg levels again to see if they are rising? Threatened miscarriage does not mean for sure. Take it easy, no sex, lots of rest. I'm praying for you! Keep me updated. I hope you and the little one will be OK.
