recurrent UTI

Any ladies out there dealing with recurrent UTIs during pregnancy? I'm 15 weeks, had a UTI 3 weeks ago and I think I have another one already. Frustrating!

Anyone who has had to deal with this, what's your story? Treatment, etc?

Thanks!

4 days I take one of each in the morning. I've so far not had any develop further and they've all gone away in a few hours. Massive difference to before!

I did during previous pregnancies...I used to get them badly and had to start antibiotics within a few hours or they'd get so severe I couldn't get up... I've found a combo that works now, at the first sign I take about 5 D mannose capsules (it attaches to the bad bacteria and flushes it out), plus 3 probiotics (good bacteria that reduce the colonization of bad bacteria), and 5 cranberry tablets (stops bacteria from attaching to urinary tract lining). Then every hour I drink a large glass of water, and every 3 hours I take another d mannose and cranberry. And every 6 hours I take another probiotic. I continue this for 2 days, and for another

Can you tell me what cranberry supplement you take? I'm sure they're not all created equal.
Thanks!

Have not had any uti's yet during my pregnancy (fingers crossed) but have suffered with them my whole life. Drink 100% cranberry juice and lots of water. No coffee, soda, or sugary drinks. Try to make sure you use the restroom at least every 2 hours and definitely after sex. I have also had success with a cranberry pill I tried ( found it with the vitamins and supplements) it broke a recurring cycle I had of a uti every 5 weeks for 4 months. Obviously, as with any supplement you'll want to check this with your doctor before you try it but when I first found out I was expecting I told my doctor about my uti history And asked if I could continue to use my cranberry supplement and she told me that was fine. I hope this helps and you get some relief, UTI's are seriously annoying.

Start adding lemon to your water daily. Natural cranberry is also good, no cocktail. Yes i agree to limit your sugar intake. No sodas, fruit juices etc. Best to keep your urinary tract pure with minimal sugars.

Lots of water and reduce your sugar intake. I've been told to drink exclusively water.

Cranberry juice is amazing when you have a UTI I don't know why but it works, I know a lot of people don't like it but that's what I have been using.
