refreshing foods

It's hot where I live and I failed to ask my doctor what are no nos for meals. Any suggestions on refreshing foods to eat during pregnancy? I am really craving seafood. Ceviche in particular but my husband thinks it's unsafe.

No raw meats or eggs, I should say. Raw produce is fine.

You can eat basically anything as long as all meat is cooked through, and deli meat or processed meat is heated to steaming to kill bacteria. No raw foods. No unpasteurized dairy. Avoid soft serve ice creams because of bacteria buildup. Wash fruits and veggies thoroughly. Probably want to avoid alcohol but I'd you are cooking with it and reducing it that should be fine. Limit fish, especially fatty ocean fish and tuna (6 oz tuna or 12 oz fish or seafood per week) because oferxury and pollutants. Limit liver to 3oz or 4oz because of high vitamin a content. (Easy to overdose on vitamin a.) That's about it for restrictions. Of course its your body and life so you don't have to listen to the guidelines, but that's what the guidelines are.

Even though it's only 20° here I've been craving refreshing foods. You have to be very careful with ceviche to make sure any of the fish you do use has been thoroughly cooked, so it's not exactly true ceviche  it you can still mix it will all the other normal ingredients and chill it. I've been on a sushi kock, but only eat shrimp and crab meat b.c it's cooked.

Foods I've found good are fruit smoothies, fresh fruit popsicles, and just any fish in general with some veggies, I'm on a big sautéed spinach kick and it's really healthy along with being good!
