rh sensitization
Does anyone have experience with rh sensitization? Comments greatly appreciated.
I tested positive for antibodies and I go Monday to test the levels. Very nervous.
I dont have this problem since I am rh positive, but I'm a clinical lab scientist and if your are sensitized, you no longer qualify for rhogham or rophylac. Your children now have a possibility of getting hemolytic disease of newborn if he's a rh positive baby, because your anti d attacks his positive d cells. And it gets worst with every pregnancy. Baby will be monitored for bilirubin levels while in útero and if anemia will requier transfusions while in útero and after birth too.
