right side mid back pain. 16 w 4 days

I'm having horrible sharp pain on my right side mid back. It's like taking my breath away and it hurts to move! Is this normal? I don't remember this with my first!  Ughhhh

I had the same thing last week, went to triage,And was told it's normal for this stage in pregnancy (i am now 17wks) it's called round ligament pain. look it up. but it's no joke, felt like someone was stabbing me

Could be pregnancy related, if so, I couldn't advise... However, kidney stones cause sharp breath taking pain as well, and they happen on either side of the back about midway up. Just something to consider. They can be excruciating and can even cause vomiting. I'd call your doc if its bad pain, either way.
