Ftm mom here... do you recommend a glider or rocking chair of sorts for the nursery?? Or is this something you don't need? Trying to decide if we should get one or not??

We bought a smaller lazy boy rocker. It is so comfortable! I can't wait to rock my baby girl in it!

I really wanted one of those soft big chairs that rock, looks like it could be part of your living room set (idk what they're called) but my husband is almost 6'4. We settled on a glider chair. It's big with oversized cushions on it and an ottoman. I love it!! I'm 28wks right now and am already using it in my living room b.c I don't like my couch anymore. Idk what I would do without it

I love my rocking chair it's so easier on me. And my baby loves to be rocked. I didn't want one when I was pregnant and now I had my baby 5 days ago I had to get one because I got stitches so I can't stand so long and I need support for my back so I got a rocking chair that was soft and I freaking love it.

I got a recliner that rocks, one its so comfortable and second I can use it in my living room after I don't need it in the babies room any more. I looked at gliders and I looked at rockers, gliders are nice but I think they are over priced! Everyone is different but I'm happy w my choice! Its not a huge lazy boy recliner either it's slimmer and its more of a women's recliner! Can't wait to rock my baby girl to sleep in it.

For all three of my children we used it heavily for the first few weeks, mainly in the middle of the night instead of pacing the floor
