scars

I have an appendectomy scar on the top of my belly button and a cholecystectomy(gall bladder surgery) scar on the bottom. Are they going to stretch or tear? They're already getting tight and my doc didn't say anything so i'm gonna assume they'll be fine. Just like some wisdom from those in the same situation.

I had my gallbladder out last week. I'm 23wks today and pretty swollen from the surgery still. I had my follow up with the surgeon yesterday and he said the incision wounds are healing fine, that they will stretch as my tummy grows but will go back to normal after delivery of baby.

Both are less than 5 years old. I thought they would be ok, just checking. Thanks ladies.

I have a scar on my belly button, one on top of my stomach and two very small ones on the side of my stomach from having my gall bladder removed. They just look a little darker right now but feel the same.

I have am old appendectomy scar from when I was a kid (the old three in. incision on the right side)... I just feel it stretch but I think you'll be ok...maybe you could put lotion and massage it..that's what I do when I feel it pretty tight..
