sex after baby?!? 2 questions

How long did you all wait to have sex after having your babies.. my daughter will be 2 weeks on Wednesday, Idk  if its hormones, the fact that my husband is incredibly sexy as a dad, or what, but I'm seriously horny!! I'm still bleeding and a little bit sore so it wouldn't be anytime soon but I don't think I can wait another 4 weeks until my Post partum appointment.

Also  concerned on how we'll even be able to have sex with a newborn...I don't want her out ofmy sight, but my husband will not be able tto perform with his daughter in the same room. I'm so confused :(

Yes definitely wait the 6 weeks. My husband and I found a lot of different ways to fool around without penetration! Lol

Even if you're feelin up to it you should wait the 6 weeks. It takes longer for the insides to heal. Plus you are very fertile after giving birth. So unless you were fixed I'd wait. But tell your hubby babies have no idea what you are doing :) but baby will be fine in the other room too mommy.

With stitches I had to wait longer than 6 weeks, because they had yet to dissolve. But that didn't stop us from playing around :)

I'm concerned about the performance thing too. My husband and I haven't had sex for a month and a half and honestly, we have no plans to because my daughters head is so low that the doctor could feel it during my last exam. It creeps us both out a bit. I can't even imagine what it will be like with her here. To answer your question though, I was told 6 weeks after birth. My sister didn't wait and caused her all kinds of issues and she was in a lot of pain.
