Look on YouTube for stretching exercises and a good massage just to focus on that area really helped me. Yoga as well
I had it with my first pregnancy. It started around the 12th week. It was horrible. I remember it would be worse if I stood for too long. One time I cleaned the entire house and woke up at night and realized I could not walk. I had to crawl to the toilet. I'd suggest that you don't stand for too long or rise up too quickly.
I had problems with siatica before I was pregant and it had only gotten worse now .. coshowmomma has got a good idea .. yoga always helps me ... some of the stretches aren't as easy as you get bigger but there are a few I can still do .. also alternating ice n heat help me .. my doc said with is fine its wherever each person prefers ... and make sure you giving yiur back enough support when your sleeping ... hope thst gives you s couple good ideas ... make sure to talk to your doctor before trying something new though
It had only bothered me when I was walking. There wasn't anything I could do other than deliver for it to stop. After I had my son (6 years ago) it eased up but would happen every now and then. I hope it doesn't get worse with this pregnancy.
I had it throughout my first trimester. Sometimes so bad it was risky to walk or I would have to take it real easy. I iced my back which actually helped me a lot. Now I'm in the last two weeks with a 7lb baby and I have not had any problems. Thank god.
I also have this, yoga for sciatica is best for me! Stretching the muscles around the nerve really helps throughout the day. Good luck!
I've had sciatica issues since the beginning and it has not improved. I am almost 30 weeks. Sorry to tell you that. Hopefully things get better for you. Rolling over and getting out of bed is the worse! I've been walking with a limp got as long as I can remember. Ugh it's the worst! I haven't really found anything to give me that much relief. I've just sort of been dealing with it. Good luck!
With my second, I had it the second half of my pregnancy. With this pregnancy I had it during my first trimester and it comes and goes now at at 25 weeks. Heating pad, massage, position change, and stretching helps, but I never had full relief until after the baby was born.
I had it during my first pregnancy. It hurt REALLY bad. It eased up towards the second trimester but as the baby grew, so did my pain. But, it wasn't as bad as the beginning just really, really uncomfortable. I usually just filled a water bottle with hot water and placed it on my back while I sat watching tv, on the computer, or lying in bed.
