Midwife?

Has anyone ever had a midwife along with their regular obgyn? If so,  what did you like/ dislike?

Im 12 weeks with my 2nd one and had a midwife for my first one and loved how much more attentive and caring they seem. Not as "cold" as some routine docs can be. I met one of my new midwives on my last appt and loved her. I have no complaints with them.

I have a midwife and will be delivering in the hospital. I am hoping to have a water birth! I adore them. Much more attentive.

I did with my first two and I loved it. They were warmer and attentive then the Dr's. They were more encouraging and supportive during delivery then the Dr's were with my last one. I'm preggo with my 4th now and switched back to a hospital and ob office that had midwives on staff
