Warm baths can help. Just sit and let the warm water loosen up your joints and muscles.
My hips, pelvis & lower back are killing me. Not sure what to do.
It is very common in 2nd+ pregnancy. My insurance has a pregnancy program and as part of it a nurse calls once a month so see how you are and answer questions. I talked to her yesterday about this because I have the same pains. The first baby will often stretch every thing out and then latter baby's can just settle right down in there. I never had this pains with my first and he carried so high the whole time. Now my baby girl is sitting right down in my hips. They have spread so much and I'm only 28 weeks.
Yes. This is my third and I have gotten that. I don't know how severe it is for you but some points I can barely walk. Look up SPD- symphis pubis dysfunction. It's very common in pregnancy. One of the hormones released during pregnancy, caked relaxin, causes loosening of the joints in the hips and pelvis and can cause mild- severe pain. Getting a pelvic girdle belt can help along with physical therapy can help it feel better. It subsides with birth.
I also get them in the middle of the night when I try to roll from one side to the other. And every time I try to put my pants on it hurts when I lift my leg. I was told it's just part of the aches and pains of pregnancy and every pregnancy is different. My first has been completely different than this one.
I get sore hips after sleeping sometimes and then they are sore for quite a bit of the day...didnt get with my first that I can remember...im guessing things are just widening
