sore throat, cold, meds?

Ladies has anyone had sore throat, sinus issues, and cough while pregnant? If so, what did you take or what did your doctor say was ok? Ive never been sick during prenancy before and it started last night so now dr office closed today and my daughter's bday party is tomorrow and i dont want to be miserable and sick durinf her party.

I had a sinus issue recently and was told I could take plain Sudafed. Also I've heard plain robitussin as well. Feel better!

Peppermint or chamomile tea works great for me just add some honey. My Dr said dayquil is fine to take but double check with yours.

Thanks: ) im 28 weeks. My friend who is in her first trimester was sick few weeks ago and doc said robotussin dm was ok so ive been taking that seems to be helping but i dont like taking any meds right now. I did try some hot tea and soothed my throat temporarily. Now its mainly sinuses and some cough.

I was told by the pharmacist that all doctors are different certain ones will allow one thing and others will allow another. My doctor told me that it was ok to take the Tylenol cold and sinus or the multisymptom stuff and for a cough it was ok to take robitussin not the dm but the regular stuff was ok. I am currently dealing with the same thing. Hope you feel better mama :-)
