sore throat

Help!wats the home remedies if u have sore throat.I'm 20 wks now.thank's in advance.

Thank you mommies!I really appreciate all ur comments.I gargle warm.water wth salt.and I drink twinning herbal tea ginger and lemon flavor its caffeine free.

Hot water, honey,  & lemon...  Also if you can,  the vitamin c halls lozenges.

All of that but also an antihistamine would be good many times our sore throat is from mucus running from oyr sinuses down our throat. Dr.s say we are ok to take benadryl or the generic, and well my dr allows me to take claritin, I know these aren't home remedies but I would do it before it gets worse

I currently have a sore throat, ive been drinking hot water with fresh lemon and 2tsps of clear honey. Really does help :-)

Salvia! It's a herb that works wonders with sore throats. I boil some, and gargle when its lukewarm.

I'm quoting this from some random web page I found. Hope you feel better soon!

"It was used by herbalists externally to treat sprains, swelling, ulcers, and bleeding. Internally, a tea made from sage leaves has had a long history of use to treat sore throats and coughs; often by gargling. "
"Sage has been used effectively for throat infections, dental abscesses, infected gums and mouth ulcers. The phenolic acids in Sage are particularly potent against Staphylococcus aureus. "
