I had the same thing when I was around 20 weeks pregnant. My doctor sent me straight to the hospital. He said I was severely dehydrated from throwing up & dyhrea so much. They put me on a fluid IV for 24 hrs then released me. They told me not to eat anything for at least 1 day. But just drink anything clear. Like sprite, or 7 up, water..ect. and when I stop throwing up, to try eating jello or crackers. In small amounts. You should try this. It worked for me! Good luck! Btw my stomach virus lasted 48 hrs.

Don't know if it was the flu but I puked all day monday:( The only thing I could keep down was Gatorade. That's what triage nurse at the drs office said to try. She said that or gingerale but can't stand gingerale. I couldn't even keep water down. Gatorade does a good quick job at getting those electrolites back up. On tuesday I just took eating light and slow. And had the runs all day tuesday. Wednesday I was back to normal. I did get scared because I didn't feel baby move since early Monday morning. But felt baby late Wednesday night. Your baby will be tired after everything in your abdomen contracting from throwing up. So don't be alarmed if you don't feel it at all or a lot less for a few days. Idk how far you are. On Monday I was 9wks and 4days. So depending on the size of baby you might not feel anything and if baby is bigger it might be less/softer movement for a few days.

Fluids. You need calories so ginger ale or 7 up. Water is course. Once you keep that down toast or hard boiled eggs.
