sudden rush

I am currently 13 weeks and have been experiencing alot of headaches.. I've seen to have gotten them under control. But this morning I was packing my lunch for work and all of the sudden felt a huge rush of blood thru my head.. Got really dizzy and hot.. Short of breath.. Laid down for 10 mins then it seemed to pass. Thankfully. Scared me tho. Anyone else ever experience this?

Thank u for all your comments. It feels good knowing others feel your pain too sometimes when the usual response is usually a strange look when u tell someone what kind of weird things have been happening to your body while pregnant. I also have 6 yr old. I swear I never got any symptoms with him. Lucky me huh. This one must be a girl ;)

As I write this.. I have a horrible sharp pain from neck to the left side of my head. Boy does it hurt. Its also annoying. I feel weak and light headed. A little nauseous as well. I'm  18 weeks.

I suffered alot of headaches at the beginning of my pregnancy.  Im 38 weeks now and they aren't as bad.  But I was told when I felt one to lay on my left side,  in a dark room with the lights off.  It's possible ur BP could be a lil elevated and that tends to help reduce the headache.  Hope it helps :)

Yes, I had one when I was around 11 weeks, I was working to work and it happened. I was seeing stars at one point and went hot but it passed after about 5 minutes. Lucky I was walking with someone at the time tho. I did some research on the net (as you do) and they said the baby is on a blood vessel/nerve causing the blood pressure to drop. Just have a lie down and rest if it happens again. Take care :)

Yes, try to eat saltines before you get out of bed in the morning. Also don't stand up too quickly. Take your time.
