i'm 8weeks pregnant and I have such terrible headaches....so much that sometimes I feel to throw up when I get them....I use regular panadol for them but it rarely works and I was told that while pregnant the only thing safe for pain is acetaminophen so I cant use anything stronger...anyone else have severe headaches?? how do you cope with them??

I was prescribed foricet. You sound like Tour having migrains. Ive tried everything for Mt headaches/migrains. Some tips ill mention; cold compress, hot compress, going back.n forth to hot and cold. Yoga, meditation to keep bp low, put your feet in hot water and put a cold rag on your head, rub vapor rub on the places on your temples (this helped for me but it was temp), a cup of coffee, benadryl and tynenol, very hot shower with water running directly on your face. I hope any of these típs help, My headaches have gotten worse as My pregnancy goes along but its different for everybody. Good luck girl and hang in there.

Tylenol is all you can take. I've taken it both pregnancies in the first trimester... and have had no problems.

Ask your doctor what medication they recommend. Mine gave me a Tylenol/caffeine mix pill, but I can't remember what it was called.

Drink plenty of water because it could be from dehydration.

My Dr said it was fine take Tylenol even in the first trimester.  I agree with the other ladies Tylenol a little caffeine and rest in a dark room.  An ice pack can also be useful.

You should not be taking any medication if your in your first trimester. Once your in yourself trimester you can take tylenol but thats about it. So for now i would just lay down put a cold damp washcloth on your forehead and drink plenty of fluids
