to touch or not to touch?

I just saw a woman say she hates getting her belly rubbed niw I get not wanting to be touched daily or even by strangers if that's your preference. But at the baby shower ? Wth! I just wabt to know are we pregnant women really that funny acting where even at the shower the belly can't be rubbed or touched. Well I guess... but my belly Is grand central in new York I guess I love all the love♥♥♥ just wondering if it's just me? Does belly touch bother you...

I really don't care if people touch my belly especially if they ask first; but there is one person that I don't like touching it: my MIL. Idk why but I just dont like it when she touches my belly she is a great person and I love her but I just don't want her to do it. I haven't said anything to her about it to not hurt her feelings; idk what's wrong with me lol.

, it's weird when some strangers wanna do it but then I remember before I was pregnant I wanted to touch every pregnant ladies belly haha (i didn't but i can understand why ppl do want ;-)

I dont mind friends and family, but a total stranger asked me if she could touch my belly the other day, I looked at her for half a min and just said, can I touch yours? (she wasn't pregnant) she gave me a funny look and said no! (shocked) and I just said well thekr you go then and walked away! im sick of strangers doing it! lol!!

I didn't let anyone touch me at my baby shower.  My nickname growing up was "untouchable".  I have ALWAYS hated being touched.  My grandmother calls me selfish bc I haven't let her rub my belly.  It just bothers me to NO end.

I have had strangers come up & touch me & I want to punch their lights out.

I'm also a tiny bit of a germaphobe so, it's even more gross if they wiped their face or nose or touched dirty things & then try & touch me.  I barely let my husband touch me without washing his hands (he's always in the yard or building things, or touching the dogs or playing fetch with them).

I absolutely love my son and thank God for him!! I smile every time my family and friends rub my belly. But please, if I don't know you don't bring your behind over to me, extend your arm, open your hand, and begin rubbing my belly! :) Luckily I haven't had too many encounters with that. But I will say this and should probably be ashamed of myself, but I was freaked out when some kids did it the other day. Wait, wait, here's why: it was my uncle's girlfriend's grandkids and I was fine at first. Then the little boy started looking into my eyes as he was doing it, asked if I'm having a boy or girl, then (I kid you not) asked when did I get pregnant?!?! I ran so quickly to my uncle and told him to get that little boy! Oh then he was questioning if my brother and cousin were my boyfriends (I'm married, but he didn't know). Now whose skin wouldn't crawl after that?!

Lol all of my friends and family always ask me first because they know how big I am on personal space. I actually encourage it with them ill grab their hands whenever shes moving so they can feel her. With strangers its a different story, I don't want some random person touching me, why do they think its ok to touch a stranger?

It drives me crazy. I had a male coworker ask before hand today before he did it because he knows how much I hate it lol. My coworkers are like the same as family because we work in EMS, but I get squeamish when random people want to or try to rub my stomach. I know they think it is cute and "can't help themselves", but it still creeps me out lol

Im fine with my husband and child touching my belly but i have to admit when anyone else does it i secretly freak out. Most of the people that do it are within our families but i dont know what it is but it drives me mad.and i dont want to hurt their feelings, or offend them but it really does get to me.

It doesn't bother me at all. I was told I could never have kids so I'm so excited about being pregnant that I don't give a flying hoot who touches my belly. :3
