I have gained close to 30 lb an I am 27 weeks today an my doctor hasn't said anything to me everyone is different in weight as long as your feeling good and everything it fine with the baby you are fine
Were u overweight when u started the pregnancy? Cause if u weren't, isn't normal?
No. I wasn't over weight to start with. I'm starting to crave sweet goid now too...which is what I'm worried about.
Thanks mamatobee!
But I don't think is that bad then, my cousin gained 60 lbs with her pregnancy, don't pay attention to them, but with the sweets, be careful because of gd
I've gained close to 30 at 27 weeks but my doctors aren't concerned.
Actually, I won't even be 27 weeks until Monday. ;)
I think everybody is different. To me that doesn't sound like a lot of weight to gain. I'm 31 weeks and have gained 26lbs and with with other 2 pregnancies I gained 30-35lbs with both but I know some ppl gain only 20 or even less and I always see girls on here saying they are 20 something weeks and only gained like 10lbs and I'm thinking to myself omg I'm such a fat @ss! Lol but I know everyone is different and I think my body is just made to gain 30-35lbs
Eat healthy foods, focus on quality. Talk to your doctor about meeting with a nutritionist. Every person is different, if your doctor is concerned, then heed the advice you are given. Your doctor has been following your pregnancy and knows you better than people on a forum.
I had gained 40 lbs by the time I was 30 weeks. I say don't worry about it. Everybody is different. As long as you and the baby are healthy, it's fine. You can work on losing it after. Trust me... that's what I'll be doing lol
At 24 weeks I had gained 14 pounds. The reason your doctor is concerned is because once you hit your third trimester you will gain a pound a week. I'm going to be. 33 weeks tomorrow and this morning I was at 21 pounds, but over the last few weeks I've fluctuated between 21-23 pounds.
I would watch what your eating, cutting out carbs and focusing on veggies and lean meats and walk daily.
