It is safe to get the tooth pulled in your second trimester until then you can tuck a clove  in the cheek by the tooth the effect will be similar to Oragel if you've ever used that. Otherwise Tylenol may be helpful.

I had my wisdom teeth pulled 2 of them and had 2 fillings done wuthin 2 days while I was approx 15 wks preggo. Im now 35+5 preggo. Nothing bad happened.  I couldn't receive the regular meds though I was given ones favorable for preggo women.

There is lots you can do dental wise while pregnant. Though my dentist told me that pulling a wisdom tooth can creat problems, risk of infectio, risk of going in to labor and so forth. However, it could have just been my situation.  I had to have a plastic surgeon work on my face to remove my teeth, as I have a small mouth.

Well I know you should definitely try to avoid certain medications on your first trimester,  your right there at the end though so maybe they can do something for you. Either way I'd consult with the dentist to get some type of relief for your pain. It ***** sometimes being pregnant,  seems like everything on the body wasn't to give you problems once your pregnant.

The forums go by age not weeks of pregnancy. And who said you can't have your tooth pulled? You can have dential procedures during pregnancy. I just had a root canal and crown done on 2 teeth. My dentist off just asked for a letter from my ob stating which medication I was allowed to take. My ob said anything Tylenol related including Tylenol 3 was fine. I ended up only need to be numbed locally. Its recommended to see a dentist during pregnancy anyway. I would consult with a dentist to see what options you have if you prefer not to pull the tooth. Hope you feel better.
