I'm at the home stretch and this toothache is kiiling me...i expect everything else but this toothache is causing me to miss classes and be in so much pain...hopefully i can get it pulled next Tuesday if this dentist doesn't chicken out like the first one did!

I am in the same boat. They said they can do itbut theyd rather not.
In the meantime I have been alternating clove oil on the tooth and sensodyne toothpaste. I put it right on like you would oragel and also brush with it. It really does help!

I just had two root canals done and tomorrow I get my permanent crowns done. Its so hard being pregnant and having tooth pain. My dentist told me make sure you floss like crazy during pregnancy. Try to prevent and possible infections/cavities from developing. Hopefully you can get your tooth pulled. You probably won't be able to be put to sleep but I'm sure they can numb you really good.

My upper wisdom teeth are literally decaying. My poor dentist can't take them out until my boy is born (it requires a really thorough X ray and I would probably need put under) so in the meantime I have severe tooth pain.
Aspirin is the only thing working, I've even had Vicodin. I'm trying to keep it to a minimum so I'm rinsing with salt water also which seems to help.
I may move up to rinsing with hydrogen peroxide.

I work for a dentist and the only reason he wouldn't do it is if you had really high blood pressure or wanted nitrous oxide or to be put under.  If you can't get it pulled, maybe they can at least get you some antibiotics to help a little bit. Good luck and feel better!
