trying to get un mad!

My doc appt is Tuesday and I'm trying to figure out if I should go or not! It's not like the membrane sweeps r working (or should I get another one?) There just going to tell me what I already know (5 cm dilated 90% effaced if not more) but there not going to do anything about it! I have used Google and my discharge is probably from my cervix thinning (only cause that's what I'm guessing) just undecided and still mad!

Thats a tough place to be at, im considering dropping my doctor, my fiance is even upset about how she ignores me. I tried talking to her but she never listens! Ive never heard of someone being so dilated and effaced and them not admitting. Why do they do that? Im California and everytime ibhit 3-4cm I eas admitted.

Hi, I think you should get another membrane sweep.Because u are 5 cm dilated it will def make its effect .

Well if you kno for sure you are being induced on the 13th then Id wait for the Doctors appt Tuesday and just talk to him about the issues you are having.  If the baby was ready to come out already then the baby would have. So just relax and stop putting yourself threw the stress of visiting the hospital evey time. Wait it out your bby will come in due time, a lot of ppl are pregnant for 42wks so just breath

I'm 39 wks there going to induce me on sept 13th because I'm not high risk and I have no complications but my doc swears I won't make it to that date! Yes I've asked to be induce every time I've seen him or gone to l&d bit it goes ignored!  And I'm tired of being ignored!  My husband takes off work to take me to the doc and we r always stuck in traffic for ever on our way home and my 3 yr old gets up set and cried the other night cause I told her we were going to try to get bailey out and we had to go home with out her one more time and she lost it! It's taking a toll on everyone and more importantly it's stressing me the f out! My mom thinks I should go and Have a chat with my doc about how upset I am! But I was always taught if u have nothing nice to say then sat nothing!

I'd use that opportunity to give them a piece of my mind and explain the frustration and risks it's causing. they cant just dismiss you like that at this stage. you deserve some consideration and involvement from their side. good luck brandy.

Why aren't you being induced? Im only dilated 2cm and im 3days past due. Im getting checked in monday night and being induced Tuesday morning.

Im sorry but he shoulda done induced you five centimeters ive never heard of such.....your at risk for bad infection at this point....id go in for sure...

I'm so sorry to hear your not making progress. This is why my doctor refuses to check me for effacement or dilation, it can increase your frustration and that stress can stall labor. Not fun. :( How many weeks are you and what else do you feel they could do be doing but aren't?

Maybe use that time wwith ur doc 2 explain how frustrated and upset u r with their care of u amd.baby....sometimes causing a fuss gets u what u want in.those situations...sometimes medical stafg forget theu r dealing with someones life.and in a very important part of it

Trying to decide same thing I have an appt Tuesday n Friday both for the baby at 2 different places. One place checks my cervical length the other is where I'm being admitted couple weeks before I have the baby n they don't check it they just do a reg U/S
