twins ?

I'm about 2 months and I'm wondering if I may be expecting more than one baby. This is my second child (7year old ) n I've begun to experience symptoms much sooner than my first pregnancy. Also I know I was a bit overweight before becoming.pregnant, but it almost look like I have a belly already. Twins run in my bfs family too. Due to.morning.sickness I haven't gained weight but I'm just wondering if anyone who's had twins has had a similar experience. Doctors appointment next week will tell me what's up but ...that's a week away !  :-)

Twins have to run on the maternal side to be genetic I believe. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I can tell you that my symptoms have hit sooner and harder and longer with each one and I never had twins. With my first virtually no symptoms hence me not finding out I was pregnant until 16-17 weeks, with my daughter I found out at 4 weeks but no symptoms until after 6 weeks and morning sickness until 16 weeks, and with this one according to my doctor I conceived May 15th, I started having symptoms on May 19th! Breast tenderness and severe mood swings, we didn't take a test until June 4th and my morning sickness had started by then and I'm still having occasional bouts of morning sickness and I'm 20 weeks.

I thought that twins had to run on your side to get fraternal twins....but a random egg splitting into twins can happen to anyone. Nut certain people are more likely than others. There is a twins likelihood test out there. It might be baby center or someone who makes it. Take the test, let us know what it says!

Every pregnancy is different but with twins running in the family it's possible :)
