I'm in Notts. Ftm 29wks. Dazy_rach I had my booking appt at 11wks, even though I called as soon as I got +ve test @ 6wks, the docs receptionist tried to make me wait til 12wks but I managed to remind them I should be having a scan then not just meeting the midwife. Midwife has been good though.

UK south west oooarrrr, was busy moving etc so didn't bother with a scan till 13 weeks, finally got a midwife once I was settled at about 16 weeks. I wouldn't worry too much about seeing the midwife more often. Its the usual wee sample, poke belly and hearing baby (which is great before you can feel them kicking) sometimes they take a bit of blood if your really lucky lol. I'm at 29 weeks and have to wait ages till my 36 week scan. I worry about how many mums can have planned inductions in America for no medical reasons. Or are talking about self induction. I just thought you waited until they popped out :)
