under active thyroid

I have just found out I'm pregnant, 4 weeks.  I took an under active thyroid after my last labour.  Does anyone else have this.  The internet talks a lot of miscarriages and birth defects.  I'm a nervous wreck.  Please help!

I have it too! My midwife prescribed thyroxin also. I take it every morning. No need to worry! My son is perfect and I'm 37 weeks!

Just keep up on your taking your meds... your doc should test your levels a bit more frequent in pregnancy so you are on the right dose! :-) I am on pregnancy #3.... it's never been an issue for my babies or I! :-) good luck! :-)

Hypothyroidism? I have it and I've had it since I was 8. My son who is 13 was born perfectly fine with no health problems. You just have to make sure your taking your medicine and at the right dose. I have an appointment to see my doctor so he can check my levels. You will be fine just make sure you take your medicine.
