uterus size??
Im 12w5d, Should i be able to feel my uterus below my belly button, around the same spot as my belly button or above?? Doc couldnt pick up heart beat yet on doppler thing but i think she had no idea where my uterus was. Im pretty sure i can feel it and she definitely didnt have it low enough, i think, to detect heartbeat. P.S. she is only gp not obsterician.
Just checking cos my doc (must have no idea) was feeling and checking heartbeat in totally the wrong place which then left me stressing that there is no heartbeat. Thankyou ladies you have eased my mind. :)
Your uterus will not hit below your belly button until around 16 weeks then above it around 20
Your uterus may just be rising from behind your pubic bone. Not likely you can feel it. You're most likely feeling abdominal distension from bloating and the slowed digestion pregnancy causes.
