I took prenatals, drank lots of water. I travked ovulation using a calendar and even tried the ovulation kits (thwy always said negative but my periods are very regular). I started out trying to do what most people and places will tell you, 2 to 3x a week and especially the day before ovulation (or when I thought I did). It didnt work for me that way and I was always disappointed every month.

I stopped using the calendar and kits. Instead I had sex almost daily beginning the day I got off my period. I always would make sure I orgasmed everytime and instead of getting up right after I would stay laying down for awhile. I didnt stop until I finally.missed my period and obviously am now pregnant. It took us a year of trying but only the last month that I tried it differently did it actually work.

Download my days +to track your cycle) get an ovulation kit (first responsecor clear blue) and when it says peak fertility, have sex that day. If you don't get pregnant within 3 months of doing that I would call your doctor. I tried for 5 years and finally went to my doctor. I had a dye study (hsg test) done and it turns out my tubes were blocked, but the dye study unblocked them . 3 months later I was finally pregnant

I downloaded a app to track my cycle and starting two days before until two days after they said I would ovulate we did it every other day.  With my second I tried for 2 months before it worked this time we tried almost 7 and I gave up and that's when it happened. The books I've read say its best not to everyday but every other to let the sperm build back up. Depending on what you read its supposed my lives inside you 48- 96 hrs. . good luck and try to relax it will help

Also pay attention to your cervical mucus.  For a cycle,  see when the mucus is most thin and stretchy (like eggwhites) and have sex that night and the next night.

If your mucus is never like egg whites (happened to me when we were TTC this baby ) try drinking a lot of water during the day.  Then next cycle check again.

It took me 2 cycles to conceive this pregnancy

I honestly believe that even if you do an ovulation test if your cervical mucus is dry or  not the right consistency its going to be harder for you to get pregnant.

That's just my opinion and it worked for me.

Sorry to hear that.

Just a side note: it's not how often you have intercourse, but the timing that matters. Too often deteriorates the quality if the sperm (advice: 3 x a week or every other day) causing high risk of no fertilisation or miscarriage.

Better to do a ovulation test to know when you should get on it. Also have your partner take it vitamins that increase potency far before your next ovulation is scheduled.

Ps. Are you sure it's your period or the bleeding that often occurs after the implantation? Good luck!
