Honesty I'm up to 3 a week, lol it feels so good and very relaxing. I'm 23 weeks on the 5th
I still take baths ALL the time. I'm 24 weeks now, but I would take the temperature of the baths prior to getting in ALL through my first trimester. My doctor said as long as you aren't sweating, you're fine.
I was always under the impression baths are fine if not too hot but stay away from spas. :)
Oh I love lying in my warm bath eating ice pops lol it helps relax my sciatica, crampy tum and achey constipated bottom ha ha x
I take baths all the time :)
Thank you girls the bath was so relaxing just what i needed!!!
I heard that as long as u don't put soap down there. It shouldn't be a problem.my ob recommended a bath with me to help me with my sleep
I have my doctor recommending that as long as I lower my hot tub and ensure my body temp doesn't go over 102, I am fine. We lowered the hot tub to 99 and am in there several times a week. The trick to know when things are too hot was if your akin turns pink...too hot. Hope the info helps.
The instruction from the doc is not to let your body get warmer than 104 degrees, thus, no hot tubs. Baths are usually OK because although you start out with water warmer than 104 (one of our best posters did this as a scientific experiment, taking her temp and the temp of the water as she went) it cools relatively fast and your whole body is not in the water at once. If you want a surprise, take the temperature of a comfortable bath. Even warm baths (i.e., that are not "hot") are pretty high in temperature.
No my doctor actually recommended warm baths to help with my backache. There is only risk of infection if your water has broken. Enjoy :D
