My doctor told me for my pre-preg weight (116) to gain 30-35 lbs..even 40 wouldn't be horrible. I'm 28weeks and have gained 25lbs already. I felt miserable about it , especially because everyone told me 25 is MAX. Luckily my husband brought it up to the doctor yesterday and she said its perfect. Only listen to what your doctor says, you sound right on track for what you were starting out :)

No worries, you're right on track. This app goes by basic BMI-which is only mildly accurate.

Agree, the app is bad in weight terms. My dr could not care less as long as I'm not eating takeaway and following a balanced diet. Your dr will determine how much is healthy based on your prepregnancy weight. I'm 21wks and gained 13lbs but with my first I gained 37lbs and lost it all with minimal effort.

Yeah this app is way off on whats considered healthy now. My doctor said to gain 25-35 pounds is normal and what you should be gaining. Im 38 weeks and have gained 30. Dont panic some weeks you may actually lose weight just be sure that you arent gaining from a bunch of junk food

Exactly. I have a month to go and have gained 25 lbs. I'm very in the normal range and it says excessive. Has said it since month 4 when I gained.

That's normal, the weight gain on the app has told me it's been excessive all through my pregnancy but my Dr had told me it's in the normal range.
