it differs from mom to mom and baby to baby i started gaining baby weight around 10 weeks some people dont until later. Whenever it feels comfortable to yu to start telling people, tell them. They say the time for things to go wrong is the first trimester once u make it through that it gets easier but there's still a chance even later in pregnancy there really is no "safe" zone.

Everyone starts gaining weight differently but you really should only gain a few pounds in the first 8 weeks, then in starts increasing much faster. As far as mc concerns making it to your first ultrasound at 8-10 weeks is really the biggest hurdle. Seeing that little heartbeat brings great relief. A majority of miscarriages happen by then, something goes wrong during development and the heartbeat just doesn't occur. Also know that is quite common to miscarry early in your 1st pregnancy and then have totally normal pregnancies to follow. Good luck:)

I miscarried twice before my current pregnancy. The first time we announced right away and a week later had to take it all back. The second tume we didnt tell anyone and to be honost it was easier to mourn my loss without having everyone in the world try to help you. This time I am not quite six weeks and my husband couldnt tae it. He spilled the beans even though I wasnt and am still not emotionally ready to put it out there. However I chose to cherish his excitement rather than get upset. Long story short I know exactly what your going through. Every time I go to the bathroom I look for spotting... so far so good. As far as weight goes the baby center gives you a wright gain chart based on your bmi. However I think your body will do as it needs and all you have to do is try to eat a well rounded diet and stay healthy and active. Good luck to you

I had the same experience. I m/c just about a month before getting pregnant. I had a threatened m/c at 6 1/2 weeks and issues constantly after that. I am now 30 weeks.  I finally started telling people about 11 weeks. Still was scared until about 25 weeks. So when you feel ready. My parents and in-laws right away and Facebook posting wasn't til about 14 weeks.

I have two kids and the third is due anytime now. I've had no miscarriages thankfully but I've always waited till after my first trimester to tell everyone. As far as my parents and closer family I told them immediately since I feel I could really use their support in good times and bad.
Congrats on your pregnancy hun!
