I've only gained 4lbs and lost them all when I got real sick with the flu. I keep telling my doctor I'm concerned about it but baby's healthy and looking great so he says its fine but since I'm already 28 weeks I should be putting on some weight. How far along are you?
In your first trimester it might be possible due to all the horrible symptoms you go thru like nausea and vomiting and loss of appetite but once your further along your symptoms tend to be either more mild or go away.
You will gain it All at the end. Most people are different
Loosing weight in the first trimester is very common, it is from feeling sick all the time. I'm 9 weeks, haven't gained anything. I know many people that lost 10lbs first trimester. It is only a concern if you were underweight to begin with. If you were overweight then it is not a problem, lowers the risk of complications
I lost 10 lbs in the first trimester due to nausea and food aversions. I'm now 5 months and only gained about 5 pounds. My baby is growing healthy.
It's common. I lost about 10 lbs the first trimester. I'm now 27 weeks and have only gained 9lbs. As long as the baby is growing as suspected you're fine
Here is a weight gain chart, based on BMI
Im 35 weeks and i lost 8lb, ive pretty much lost weight my whole pregnancy, its always been up and down. I and my baby have had all the checks and were all good, they even rekon shes gonna be 7lb10oz when shes born! Just my body going through changes. If they say its fine, then its fine :)
Losing weight is fine. As long as baby is doing great and gaining. Baby doesn't gain a whole lot until the last tri mester. And not everyone gains a ton of weight during pregnancy. I lost 11lbs during the first tri and into the beginning of the second. And have only gained 13 1/2lbs so far and I'll be 35 weeks on Thursday.
