what helps prepare for a sonogram?

I'm 17 weeks and tomorrow i hope they can tell if Im having a boy or girl. I've heard drinking water helps the tech see baby better, eating a little chocolate, etc. Any recommendations other than me praying baby cooperates? Lol

Drink a litre of water an hour before. Or 750 mL if you can't handle the full litre. The full bladder will push your uterus out for better visibility. Warning, you will be uncomfortable.
