what is normal?

Is it normal to crave the same thing for a couple weeks and then start craving something else for a couple of weeks. I feel like that's a lot of cravings. And of course right when I go shopping and I buy what I crave, my cravings change. Every week to every two weeks I crave something random so badlol. Also I'm 18 weeks, I feel my baby move around at random times. Some days its constantly moving around, others I don't feel a lot till its night time. Sometimes I don't feel anything for a day or two but that's rare and only happened early on since I first started feeling her at 13 weeks. I'm so confused on if this is normal. When should I start doing the fetal count checks?? One day I drank cranberry juice and I felt like she was freaking out inside my stomach. I can't explain it but it was a lot of moving all over the place. It was crazy feeling. Well let me know what you guys think, I'm a first timer. So I have a lot of questions.

My cravings change a lot. In the first trimester all I wanted was spaghetti with meat sauce for like 2 weeks.. Then I had a week all I wanted/ could stomach were blueberry scones. Now for months its been anything chocolate, I have also been "craving" the smell of an air conditioner . Like one of the big window ones that give off that cool crisp smell.. I don't know how to explain it lol I'm odd I know.. Hey with my first I legit used a pickle to eat my mint chocolate chip ice cream ;-)

Ah ok I feel a lot better, and thanks for the tips on the cravings. I get so nervous and paranoid when I don't feel her move at least once a day. I want this baby so bad and it took a long time to get pregnant that and I was told it would never happen for.me. so Im just scared to lose my chance to be a mom finally

Question 1) ABSOLUTELY NORMAL!  I craved almond joys for days and suddenly can't stand the site of them.  Cravings fluctuate.  What you liked yesterday may make you vomit today.  So don't buy crave foods in bulk.

Question 2) ABSOLUTELY NORMAL!  My doctor didn't worry about the baby not moving all the time till I was in my 7/8th month.  Before then then baby is still small enough to move away from areas where his movements would be noticeable.  If you honestly get worried, we were told to drink some SUPER sweet drink.  Like kool aide in crack (aka, TONS if sugar) to get them a little spazzed.  The cranberry juice was probably high in sugar and it made him go nuts.

Don't panic. It is all normal.  Promise.

There's no such thing as a lot of questions for a first time mom. Don't worry about that. :) Question 1) yes. Pain though it maybe the revolving door of cravings is totally normal. Sorry. Question 2) You're still early in the movement phase. So when you're going "OMG she's not moving" she's doing a conga in there. Lol she's just so little if she's turned this way or that you can't feel it. All normal. (Including the is out normal she's not moving question. Idk any mom who hasn't had a few of those moments) :)

The cravings are normal. Just don't buy too much of any craving because you never know when it will gross you out.
You are pretty early on for feeling daily movements. She is still so small that you may not feel every kick. I don't think you need to worry about kick counts till closer to your third trimester.
