I pretty much eat what every I want. I did cut out/back on caffine and things high in salt. Because caffine just isn't good for baby and I have hbp. I would just suggest being mindful of eat food really high in fat but sometime u just want certain stuff. Good luck.

Interesting about honey. I get honey from a cousin who is a local bee keeper- it is the best honey! I''ll have to see if he pasteurized it. I usually just put it in tea since it is crystallized.

Alkali13 some people will say its okay, however anytime you had raw foods you run the risk of bacteria that could cause harm to you or the baby. With honey the risk is with botulism which is rare but has a pretty high fatality rate in those who contract it. Thats also why children under 1 year cannot consume raw honey. Also botulism is one of fee bacteria that's not killed easily by heat (it can be but you'd need to heat it to at least 250 degrees Fahrenheit in a pressure cooker for at least 20 minutes)

I didn't even THINK about the raw honey thing!  I'm so glad someone mentioned that because farmers markets are starting soon and I definitely wanted some local honey!

Store bought mayo is fine because its pasteurized. Always look for that word it'll be your best friend in pregnancy. If something is not pasteurized or contains the word "raw" don't eat it, like raw honey, raw milk cheeses, etc.

I eat a lot and do mean A Lot of watermelon. It helps me to stay regular. I have constipation issues because of medicine but watermelon helps.  My other advise, don't eat too many sweets or fatty food. Stick to healthy foods and avoid too much fast food. Good luck
