working out, third trimester

When did you have to stop working out? I'm 33+3 and could only do half of my elliptical  workout today because I started having some pretty bad cramping. I don't want to keep going and get hurt so I may start limiting my workouts.

My doctor daid listen to your body. He said i can go up to the end with light working out . But it all depends on you and your body

San408, I'm going to listen to my body. I was just curious if other women had similar experiences. I'm so close to the end that if I have to stop it won't affect me too much.

I agree with you mommabanielle, I'm also going to take it easy..or at least tone down my workouts a bit. I'll do what I can and when I feel I need to stop, I'll stop. I wish you the best of luck!

I went up to the day I delivered. However, I did have to stop doing my hardcore workouts around 32-34 (can't remember) weeks. I just did a brisk walk, squats and sometimes a cardio/lower body tone workout on YouTube. But just for pregnancy.

I've been having problems with working out too. I'm 26 weeks with twins, I've been swimming but the last two times I had cramping for several hours afterward. I don't want to stop so I'm just going to take it way easier and listen to my body. Although last night in bed I did have very strong cramping that lasted about a minute and came on every 5 minutes about three times.  I hope it's normal and my Dr doesn't tell me to stop working out all together.
