x-rays !!

Hi im 24 weeks and i had to get xrays done because I hurt my wrist . I'm worried it could cause damages to my baby .

Yeah x-rays to your extremities are typically safe its when you need abdomen, spine, pelvis x-rays that you need to be concerned. As baby_love2014 mentioned you are out of your first trimester so thats good.

I needed a knee xray and my dr said it was fine to do so. Especially since you're out of the first trimester.

As long as you were shielded properly you will be fine. I am a radiology technologist and I get asked all the time about it since I am pregnant.  Patients always question why I'm taking x-rays pregnant. I always shield pregnant ladies with 2 shields. The radiation was just to your wrist which is a small amount. I wouldn't worry about it unless you weren't shielded.
