Yes. Happened to me too. Dr switched me to diclegis and its amazing. I've always suffered with hg with all my pregnancies. This is the first out of 5 that I've not had to be hospitalized. You take two before you go to sleep and it's slow release so when u wake up u feel great, take one more and if needed one more in the later afternoon. I was really dehydrated and down 13 lbs so it took me about a week of not throwing up to feel "good" but I've been on it since 6 weeks and I'm doing great. 28 weeks now. I suffer from hg the whole pregnancy, hopefully yours goes away soon or something helps you. Best of luck
At 6 weeks I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG); which is chronic nausea, vomiting , dehydration and weight loss. I was on Zofran (every 4 hours) and Reglan (every 6 hours). It wasn't really working because I would throw it up! When I was 10 weeks the doctors put me on a 24 hour Zofran pump that automatically pumps the meds into my stomach. That has been working a lot better.
Yes i used zofran for about a month and a half and it worked great then all of a sudden it didnt help any more my midwife said my body probably just got use to it so she prescribed me something new
